Venezuelan President Nicolas Maduro announced on Tuesday evening on the capture of accomplices eliminated in the course of a special operation of rebel police officer Oscar Perez.

«Yesterday (Monday) and today (Tuesday) we caught a serious group of accomplices of this terrorist gang, and now just catch the rest of his accomplices,» said Maduro during a rally in Caracas, which was broadcast in social networks.

Maduro announced that pérez wanted to blow up cars in the streets of Caracas to sow chaos in the country.

Perez was killed along with six companions, among them was a woman, January 15, in the district of Caracas after the RAID. Also killed two security personnel. Several of the rebels taken into custody. The opposition accused the government of extrajudicial violence.
