The Minister of economic development of the Russian Federation Maxim Oreshkin expects that the Russian economy will reach the growth in the 3-3. 5% «a couple of years.»

«Russia’s economy is already growing. Given the current demographic challenges we faced – it has 3-3,5% to be growth. I hope it will happen in a couple of years,» said Oreshkin, speaking at a business Breakfast VTB within the framework of the world economic forum in Davos.

«Thanks to the actions of the authorities of the dependence of the economy from the volatility of oil prices has declined in recent years. And now macroeconomic and fiscal policy in Russia is an example for many countries and Russia’s role in the global economy grows», — the Minister added.

The current forecast Ministry for GDP growth for 2018 and 2.1% in 2019 and 2.2% in 2020 and 2.3%.
