U.S. Consul General in Vladivostok, Michael Keyes said that the Consulate plans to conduct more interviews, told RIA Novosti press-service of the Consulate.

Earlier, the Consul General of the USA in Russia Lawrence Toby told me that in Yekaterinburg and Vladivostok part in the interview less than in Moscow and St. Petersburg.

«The waiting time for interview in Vladivostok is much less than in Moscow. If you go to the website travel.state.gov you will see that the wait time for appointments in Vladivostok 21 days. And for students 8 days. We hope that over time the waiting time may be reduced, but now the situation is such. The main problem is that we in the Consulate are now less staff. But the demand exists. We will try to do everything possible so that the number of interviews was more», — the press service quoted Michael Keyes.
