Argentina’s President Mauricio Macri announced the reduction of 25% of civil servants of the Executive authorities and freezing the salaries of officials for budgetary savings, according to the portal Infobae.

«We cut every fourth employee in the Executive branch. This year will not be higher wages for officials. Starting today, members of the families of Ministers are unable to work in the government», — quotes the portal words of the Argentine leader.

As reported, the reform will reduce the thousands of officials that will allow to save about 1.5 billion pesos annually (about 76,73 million dollars).

According to Makri, «politics should be an example of austerity». The President also stressed that Argentina «have already overcome the most difficult times».
