Two Germans arrested at the request of German Prosecutor General’s office on charges of divulging state secrets in their apartments were searched, reported on Monday the press service of the Ministry.

We are talking about 59-year-old Martin M., who was a manufacturer of explosives, and 54-year-old Thomas M. — the head of the company that produces weapons. The defendants were familiar with each other.

According to investigators, Thomas M. was in possession of a document marked «secret» that was related to the draft budget of the Ministry of defense of Germany. A photocopy of this document he handed to Martin M. in 2016, which, in turn, gave it to one of his employees and boss. About how the document fell into the possession of Thomas M., is not yet known.

Law enforcement authorities asked the head of Martin M. At his workplace was searched. As a result, the investigation found several photocopies of the document.
