The famous pianist Denis Matsuev, February 2, will perform with a Large Symphony orchestra (BSO) under the baton of Vladimir Fedoseyev in the Great hall of the Moscow Conservatory (GCB), said the press service of the BSO.

BSO under the baton of Maestro Vladimir Fedoseyev with great success performed the music of Beethoven in the composer’s native city of Bonn and in Vienna, becoming the first Russian band, which is constantly invited in the Golden hall of Vienna’s Musikverein. In 2004 in Moscow there was a cycle of concerts «Beethoven… Beethoven», a program which includes all the major works of the composer.

New Beethoven cycle of SSR takes place in the Large hall of the Moscow Conservatory in concert of the season 2017/18 years and includes the execution of piano concerts of the composer in interpretation leading pianists.

In October, it was performed Second piano Concerto (soloist Vladimir Ovchinnikov) and the Eighth Symphony of Beethoven. At the beginning of December, there were Third piano Concerto (soloist Vadim Rudenko) and the Fourth Symphony.

BSO running Symphony orchestra and pianist Denis Matsuev, February 2, will perform the Third piano Concerto and Seventh Symphony, the report said.

«A great happiness to be familiar with the legendary Maestro Vladimir Ivanovich Fedoseyev, the last of the Mohicans our great Russian conducting school,» said Matsuev, who quotes a press-service.

According to the musician, the level of professionalism of the BSO that is more than 40 years headed Fedoseev, higher.

In March Beethoven cycle will continue performance of Boris Berezovsky with the BSO under control of Fedoseyev. The musicians will perform the First piano Concerto and First Symphony. Will complete the cycle of pianist Andrei Korobeinikov, who together with the orchestra and Vladimir Fedoseyev will perform the Fourth piano Concerto of Beethoven. Also in the concert program, which will be held may 17, will feature the Third Symphony of the composer.
