Moscow believes the publication of the so-called «»Kremlin report» direct and obvious attempt to influence the electoral process in Russia, said the press Secretary of the head of state, Dmitry Peskov.

Earlier it became known that the U.S. administration on Monday plans to introduce a so-called «Kremlin report» or, as it is called in Washington, «the Russian sanctions list». As expected, it will include persons who, in the opinion of the American authorities, are close to the Russian leadership and may be subject to us restrictions.

«The answer is Yes. Indeed, we believe that it is, in fact, a direct and obvious attempt to coincide with some action to the elections to influence them. We disagree, and we are confident that any impact will not» — said Peskov, answering the question whether in the Kremlin, the publication of the report an attempt to destabilize the situation before elections.
