Putin invited Netanyahu to discuss relations and the situation in the region

The visit of the Prime Minister of Israel Benjamin Netanyahu to Moscow will allow the parties to discuss the situation in the middle East and bilateral relations, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

At a meeting with Israeli Prime Minister Putin thanked Netanyahu because he accepted an invitation to visit Russia and the Jewish Museum and tolerance center in day of memory of victims of the Holocaust.

«It is especially symbolic because these days the world remembers the victims of the Holocaust. As you know, in our country there were a lot of victims in almost every family. Among the Nazis destroyed the Jews were very much citizens of the Soviet Union. But they also made a huge contribution to the victory over Nazism», — Putin said.

«As usual, we take and this opportunity to talk about our bilateral relations and to discuss the situation in the region,» he added.
