Revenues for 2017 increased by 13%, said the mayor of Moscow Sergey Sobyanin in an interview to the newspaper «Kommersant».

«In short, the revenues grew by 13% and exceeded 2 trillion rubles. This is a serious mark. This was not accidental, but due to the active development of economy and increase of investment. All the previous years investment is not falling, and that’s to accumulate some capacity to ensure that we relatively quickly came out of recession and once again boosted the economy,» he said.

He also noted that the budget for 2017 is executed without a deficit, explaining that it can be technical in nature. In addition, Sobyanin stressed that it was important to talk about the deficit and about the debt of the creditors who for the last seven years has decreased by almost 10 times.

«In 2010, the debt of Moscow amounted to about 300 billion rubles. On January 1, 2018, they amounted to 34 billion rubles. For such budget it is nothing. We would have them paid off, but the commitment is built so that we are ahead of schedule could not extinguish them,» — said Sobyanin.
