The first in Vladivostok mosque will begin to build in the spring of 2018, according to the administration of Primorye.

Previously, the city administration reported that the construction raised funds from charitable sources. For the mosque was allocated to the land, which, once established, the Ministry of defense that has not allowed to begin construction, said the city authorities. Today in Vladivostok there are no separate mosques, meetings and prayers are held in Kazatkom administration of Muslims of Primorsky Krai.

«The construction of a mosque in Vladivostok on the shore of the Bay Ulysses will begin in the spring of 2018. «According to preliminary estimates, the construction cost of the mosque will be more than 100 million rubles, the funding we have,» said shaikhraziev.

According to him, to open a mosque in Vladivostok is planned for the 100th anniversary since the formation of the Tatar ASSR, which will celebrate in may 2020.

According to the authorities of the region, today the region is home to representatives of 158 nationalities, more than 100 thousand of them Muslims.
