The average height of the orbit flight to the International space station (ISS) increased by 600 metres, to create a favorable ballistic conditions for the docking to the station of the space truck «Progress MS-08», informed RIA Novosti the representative of the mission control Center (MCC).

«In accordance with the mission plan of the International space station on 30 January 2018, correction of the orbit of the ISS flight. To complete the maneuver at 18.25 GMT were included engines service module «Zvezda», — he said.

The engines worked 22.8 sec. The average height of the orbit of flight MKS is increased to 600 meters and is made up 404,8 km. The correction is carried out for the formation of ballistic conditions for the launch cargo vehicle «Progress MS-08», the launch of which is scheduled for February 11, 2018, from Baikonur.
