Candidate for Russian presidential elections from the party «Yabloko» Grigory Yavlinsky believes that long-term state policy over the next 30 years should be focused on the creation of a powerful economic system.

«I am deeply convinced that the crux of the whole policy of the state in the next 30 years should be only one — the creation of a powerful economic system in Russia. Because a country with such boundaries, with these areas without a strong economic system can not exist. Everything else a side, then everything else we will do… as soon as we become a real economic power, not only thermonuclear,» said Yavlinsky at the meeting with members of the chamber of Commerce and industry of the Pskov region on Wednesday in Pskov.

Policies negatively describe the current state of the domestic economy. «We have a very small economy. According to the world standards in General are tiny — less than 2% of global GDP, about 1.7%… we Have a very poorly diversified economy, we have low technical level and level of productivity, our economy has no place in a competitive international system where we have a competitive only two categories — producers of raw materials and weapons. We have the world’s technological leaders. Essentially, our entire economy is several hundred companies and all. All the resources are concentrated in the hands of the state and state-controlled structures,» — said Yavlinsky.
