More than 330 accident recovery crews involved in the restoration of electricity in the regions of Central Russia, where no light left more than 21 thousand houses, said on Sunday the first Deputy head of National control centre in crisis situations of the Ministry of emergency situations Igor Kutrovsky.

The snowfall has affected the 13 regions of the Central Federal district, six of them (Moscow, Bryansk, Kaluga, Smolensk, Tula and Vladimir regions), there was a power cut.

«To conduct rescue and recovery operations attracted more than 330 integrated emergency response and restoration teams,» said Kutrovsky on a conference call.

All, according to him, as at 16.00 GMT over 21 is de-energized thousands of homes in 600 settlements. They account for more than 62 thousand people.
