The ex-President of Georgia Mikhail Saakashvili flew from the Ukraine to Poland, reports the website of the Television news service (TSN) of the TV channel «1+1» with reference to the source.

«The politician flew on a Charter flight at about 16:00 Kiev time (17:00 MSK)», — stated in the message.

The Ukrainian border service confirmed this information. The Ministry said that on Monday, Saakashvili has informed «about the decision of the competent authority about his return to the country of previous stay.»

Protection policy called the expulsion of illegal, noting that Warsaw did not consent to the return of Saakashvili.

The charges against Saakashvili

The policy was accused of illegal crossing the Polish-Ukrainian border in early September.

In late October, the migration service refused to provide the President a status of the person in need of complementary protection. The court found this decision lawful. Saakashvili appealed against the verdict, but the appellate court left him in the power. Protection policy filed an appeal in the Supreme court of Ukraine.

On Monday, the companion policy, Verkhovna Rada Deputy Yuriy Derevyanko told that unknown persons detained Saakashvili in the restaurant and driven to the airport «Borispol».
