The Russian customs will be fully electronic by 2020

The Federal customs service of the Russian Federation currently implements a comprehensive development program, by 2020 the Russian customs, is expected to become fully electronic, said in an interview with RIA Novosti first Deputy head of FCS Ruslan Davydov.

«The Federal customs service of Russia implements a comprehensive development program until 2020, we turn to the centres of electronic declaring, we have now 100% electronic Declaration, introducing automatic enrollment and automatic release — all without human intervention: if the risks didn’t work, the Declaration is recorded and released,» — said Davydov.

He stressed that «the FCS applies modern control technology, and by 2020, the customs will be fully electronic».

The interviewee noted that there was still a problem with the arrangement of the checkpoints in connection with the lack of investment in this area.

Davydov took part in the first world conference on the regulation of cross-border e-Commerce, which was held in Beijing on 9-10 February and gathered on the platform about 2 thousand representatives of customs authorities from around the world.
