. The exhibition «fight to win», dedicated to the 110th anniversary of the birth of Soviet writer Vitaly zakrutkina, was opened in Rostov-on-don in day of the 75th anniversary of the liberation of the don from Nazi invaders, reports the regional government.

Lifetime editions of zakrutkina, personal documents and photographs presented in the Museum of Russian-Armenian friendship. The exhibition will be open until April 10.

«In the days of the liberation of the don from Nazi invaders is especially important to refer to the work of Vitaly zakrutkina,» — said at the opening ceremony the Minister of culture of the Rostov region Vladimir Babin. He noted that the life and work of war correspondent zakrutkina experiences at the front and in the rear has had a tremendous impact.

His works educate patriotism, show the spiritual beauty of the people, the power of the don Cossack culture, said Babin.

To the 75-th anniversary of the liberation of Rostov-on-don from Nazi invaders, the Museum will also host a number of thematic lectures and discussions, for example about the activities of the military field post and medical training during the war.

Vitaly Zakrutkin was born March 27, 1908. In 1932 graduated Annunciation pedagogical Institute imeni M. I. Kalinina, and in 1936, at the post — graduate of the Leningrad pedagogical Institute named Herzen. Participated in the great Patriotic war. The author of over 20 works, including «the mother man», «the Floating village», «the creation of the world», «Mother land of cheese». Some of them have been translated into many languages of the world.
