Japan hopes to develop relations and economic cooperation with Russia in a wide range of fields, said at the opening of the second meeting of the Russian-Japanese working group of high level, the Minister of economy, trade and industry of Japan, Hiroshige Seko.

From the Russian side the group is headed by the Minister of economic development Maxim Oreshkin. In the Cabinet of Japan, SECO is also responsible for economic cooperation with Russia.
