The Federal tax service of the Russian Federation by may 2018, will write off the debt on insurance contributions to 111 billion rubles, it will be done without the involvement of taxpayers, according to the information that tax authorities will give extra-budgetary funds, said the head of the FTS Mikhail Mishustin at the meeting of the expanded Board of Department.

He said that, of the 522 billion rubles of debt on insurance premiums, which was formed at the beginning of 2017 and was transferred to the tax service at the time of transfer of authority to administer these payments, the IRS resolved more than 173 billion rubles.

«A significant proportion was accumulated debt of individual entrepreneurs is calculated on the basis of the eightfold size of minimum wage in case of non-reporting, – 111 billion rubles at the beginning of 2018,» — said Mishustin.

He noted that this debt could not be collected in full in connection with the actual lack of income or termination by taxpayers of the business, so last year it was decided that the debt be written off.

«The challenge to service in 2018, to write off this debt without the participation of the taxpayers according to the information that we get possession of the funds. The work is scheduled for completion in may 2018,» — said Mishustin.

Just on the basis of 2017, according to him, extra-budgetary funds came to 5.8 trillion rubles, or 9.1%, or 483 billion more in fees in 2016. The growth rate of revenues of insurance premiums by 1.9 percentage points exceeded the growth rate of the average monthly wage.
