Media reported 19 killed in train collision in Egypt

The death toll in the collision of two trains in the province of Beheira in Egypt has risen to 19, and 38 people are currently affected, according to the Egyptian newspaper «Al-Rasd» on Twitter.

According to available information, the collision occurred at the station of Abu-El Javi. Two cars separated from the passenger train and fell in front of oncoming goods train. In place rescuers work and thirty ambulances. The CDC says the number of dead and injured may increase.

Earlier, Egyptian media reported 12 dead and 15 injured.
