. Sports club «LUKOIL» established the all-Russian charitable program of grants to support young athletes, who competed in the Olympic disciplines, informed RIA Novosti the General Director of the club, member of the Presidium of the Federation of ski races of Russia Anton Micnow.

«We have for 20 years supported the Russian sports — both professional and mass. Olympics in Pyeongchang proved once again that the systematic work with young athletes is bearing fruit. Yes, it’s hard work and very long-term perspective. But it is an investment in our younger generation. For them we establish a charitable grant, «Dressed in sport», the applicant of which is open to any young athlete,» said Mirnov.

The annual grants are designed to support young athletes, who competed in the Olympic disciplines. The winners of the competition applicants will be selected by the expert jury composed of Olympic Champions in different sports.

«The winners will not only cash grants in the amount of 100 thousand rubles, but also equipment, as well as the opportunity to take up internships under the guidance of the best coaches in the country in their disciplines. I hope all the national sports federations will support us in this initiative», — concluded Micnow.
