Foreign Minister of Lithuania Linas Linkevicius has not ruled out the possibility of new EU sanctions against Russia, but not related to the situation in Syria. He said this to journalists on arrival at the Council of foreign Ministers of the EU countries on Monday.

«It is not excluded, but sanctions are not connected with Syria. We have sanctions (related — ed.), Minsk (agreement – ed.) As there is no progress on the Minsk that additional sanctions or the extension 12, and not six months can happen,» he replied to the question about additional EU sanctions against Russia.
