The Commissioner for human rights in Russia Tatiana Moskalkova appealed to Russian President Vladimir Putin in connection with the care of the owners of failed businesses from responsibility to the workforce to pay wages.

On Monday, the Ombudsman has presented to Putin his annual report on the activities in the field of human rights protection, according to the Kremlin website.

«Today, every tenth appeal employment relations is collective appeal. We managed almost twice to increase the impact of its work, start the Toolkit and restore the rights of citizens who are not paid salaries, in particular, the Vostochny cosmodrome,» — said Moskalkova, quoted the Kremlin website.

She recalled that the participation of the President, the Ministry of defence, local commissioners for human rights was able to solve the issue of payment more than 4 thousands of citizens who have not been paid due to bankruptcy.

«I have prepared an appeal to you. After analyzing the issues of failure to fulfill labor obligations to the teams, we came to the conclusion that often the owners of enterprises remain in good estate, for sufficiently large monetary capital, and in front of groups, they are not liable,» — said the Ombudsman.
