The police opened a criminal case after the explosion of a grenade in the Kyoto Park in Kyiv, reported the press service of the Kyiv Department of the National police of Ukraine.

Earlier on Monday, the police reported that during the conflict between young people and passers-by in the Park Kyoto, an explosion occurred grenades, injuring two people.

«Data are brought in the Unified register of pre-judicial investigations on two counts: on the fact of attempt at murder… and in fact illegal handling of weapons, ammunition or explosives… to the Malefactor threatens till 15 years of imprisonment», — is spoken in the message.

According to police, the suspect was arrested, but since he had shrapnel wounds to the legs, he is in hospital under guard.
