The Russian Embassy urged the British authorities to remove the censorship with publication in the British media on the incident in Salisbury and not to exert pressure on the media, as is the case with the TV channel RT, said RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the Embassy.

«We urge the conservative government to preserve the political reputation to immediately disclose all available information on poisoning in Salisbury for the Russian side, and also for the British public, to remove the censorship from the publication in the British press of information related to this crime,» — said the press Secretary of the Embassy.

He also demanded to give opportunity for Russian and British media to freely report the incident, without exerting political pressure on the press. As an example of such pressure, the Embassy cited the situation with the TV channel RT.

On the eve of the British megaregulator Ofcom announced that it has opened seven new investigations in relation to news and documentary programs of the TV channel RT.

Relations between Russia and Britain deteriorated sharply against the background of the incident in the British Salisbury, where he was poisoned working for the British secret service, former Colonel of the GRU, Sergei Skripal and his daughter Julia.
