China is not going to bargain with the United States in areas that considers its basic interests as concessions in trade negotiations, said Thursday the official representative of the Ministry of Commerce of China Gao Feng.

«Sino-American trade formed market, you need to respect the economic laws of the market, it is impossible to have a planned economy in this case. We will resolutely protect their legitimate rights and interests. The Chinese side is not going to make the subject of bargaining with the United States of its fundamental interests», — said at a briefing Gao Feng, commenting on reports about concessions from China in response to the removal of restrictions against ZTE in the United States.

He added that China is willing to increase imports from other countries, including the United States, expressing hope that Washington will repeal unnecessary trade restrictions.

«We hope that the US will repeal unnecessary trade barriers to the Chinese side objectively and fairly, and will strive to the realization of mutual benefits», — said the representative of trade Department of China.
