The investigative Committee opened a criminal case against 15 judges of the constitutional court of Ukraine (CCU), does not recognize the annexation of Crimea to Russia. This was reported by the official representative of Department Svetlana Petrenko.

The Committee announced the names of the defendants: Yuri Baulin, Vasyl Bryntsev, Sergei Vdovichenko, Michael Goulty, Michael Zaporozhets, Alexander Litvinov, Nikolai Melnik, Sergey SAS, Oleg sergeychuk, Igor Slidenko, Petro Stetsyuk, Oleksandr Tupitsky, Natalia Shaptala, Stanislav Shevchuk and Viktor Shyshkin.

«They are suspected of violation of equality of rights and freedoms of man and citizen,» — said Petrenko.

According to her, the decision on the recognition of the Declaration of independence of the Crimea unconstitutional Ukraine is discriminatory. This violates a fundamental principle of international humanitarian law — the right of people to self-determination.
