Full-scale agreement on free trade zone between the Eurasian economic Union (EEU) and Iran may be concluded in three years, said Thursday the Chairman of the Board of the Eurasian economic Commission (EEC) Tigran Sargsyan.

A provisional agreement on creating a free trade zone between the Eurasian economic Union and Iran signed during the Astana economic forum on Thursday. It is concluded for three years and provides for reduced or zero import customs duties on a wide range of goods.

«Our negotiators immediately set a task for the future, three years to negotiate in full the agreement on free trade,» he said at the forum, which takes place in the capital of Kazakhstan.
