The European Commission has proposed to increase the supply in the member countries of the community of the liquefied gas from the United States with the expansion of appropriate infrastructure, reported RIA Novosti diplomatic source in Brussels.

In response, the EU wants Washington to abolish tariffs on steel and aluminum for European companies.

USA at the end of March imposed tariffs on imports of steel and aluminum in the amount of 25% and 10% respectively. For a number of countries and for the EU, the effect of these duties is suspended until June. The negotiations between the EU and the USA have so far failed.
