The prosecution asked the Zamoskvoretsky court of Moscow to appoint 9 years of strict regime colony and a fine in the amount of 180 million rubles to the former Deputy Chairman of the government of Komi Konstantin Romadanov, accused of fraud and participation in a criminal organization, said the press Secretary of the court Emilia Gil.

«During debate of the parties state charge has suggested to appoint Romadanova on set of crimes punishment in the form of 9 years of imprisonment with punishment serving in a corrective colony of strict regime, with restriction of liberty for a term of 3 years and a fine in the amount of 180 million rubles,» — said the spokesman.

Following session on business will take place on may 29.

In September 2015 in the case of fraud and forming a criminal group was arrested several senior officials of Komi, and also some businessmen, which the Investigative Committee called the «Finance-technology». Under arrest was the ex-head of the Republic Vyacheslav Gaiser, Romadanov, the General Director of «Komizhilstroy» Anton Faershteyn and several other defendants in the case.

According to the prosecution, from December 2005 to September 2015, the defendants, acting group created by businessman Alexander Zarubin, stole 100% of the shares of the poultry farm «zelenetskaya». The damage exceeded $ 3.34 billion rubles.

In addition, according to investigators, they stole from the Fund of support of investment projects in Komi more than 67 million rubles, received a bribe of more than 198 million rubles and laundered 988,5 million rubles.
