Possible new extension of sanctions against Russia in connection with the alleged violation of the provisions of the INF Treaty is a cheap political ritual, the US charges are unfounded, said on Thursday Deputy head of the Russian Federation Sergey Ryabkov.

«I can describe it all in three words «cheap political ritual.» No element of the movement to something more reasonable from the point of view of overcoming the problems that the Americans have created, groundlessly accusing us of breach of contract and not responding to our calls to engage in professional situation with the INF Treaty, including to address our concerns, no action in this sense is not made,» — said Ryabkov told reporters.
