Other people from Chechnya, attacked with a knife at passersby in the center of the Paris Opera, charged with belonging to a terrorist group that prepared attacks on people, according to radio station France Info, citing investigative sources.

Abdulhakim A. was arrested on 13 may in Strasbourg, the day after the attack. After the arraignment, he will remain in detention, according to the prosecution’s request. According to the BFMTV, the name of the young man — Anew or Anaii. He’s 20 years old, he is a citizen of France and Russia. Family Abdulhakim A. arrived in France in 2005.

On the evening of may 12, near the Grand Opera in Paris, a man with a knife attacked passers-by. In the attack one person was fatally injured. Another four were injured. The police eliminated the attacker, who was 20-year-old Khamzat Asimov. He was born in Chechnya, and in 2010 he received French citizenship.

Also as part of the investigation were arrested two young women familiar with Asimov and his friend.
