In Chechnya proposed to allow to hold the office of President three consecutive terms

The Chechen Parliament in the Duma introduced amendments to the Constitution, according to which it is impossible to hold the office of President of the Russian Federation for more than three consecutive terms, from the database of the lower house of Parliament.

«One and the same person may hold the office of President of the Russian Federation for more than three consecutive terms», — stated in the proposed amendments.

According to the Constitution, one and the same person may hold the office of the head of state not more than two six-year terms.
