Member of the gang responsible for the murder of FSB officer and two soldiers in 2000, will stand trial in Chechnya, said the Investigative Committee (SK) Russia on Thursday.

The investigators completed a criminal case against 38-year-old Raimbeka bekmurzaeva, he is accused of illegal transfer of firearms and ammunition, the attempt on the life of the military personnel, the theft of firearms and ammunition, participation in an armed group, according to the UK.

«The consequence collected sufficient evidentiary base in this connection criminal case with the approved indictment was sent to court for consideration in essence», — stated in the message.

According to investigators, on 8 October 2000, the Bekmurzaev in the automotive market of the city of Urus-Martan in an emphasis shot three law enforcement officers from the gun. As previously reported, it was an FSB officer and two soldiers of the MIA of Russia. The accused stole killed two service rifle and ammunition to them.

In early 2001, the Bekmurzaev, according to the investigation, entered into an armed gang involved in attacks on law enforcement officers and servicemen of the Federal forces. In the gang the defendant was before November 2001. To establish and detain the alleged offender, the investigation was able just last year. As follows from the materials of the criminal case, the accused all these years lived in the country and worked as a taxi driver.
