The Russian national orchestra in the season’s final concert in the Great hall of the Conservatory will perform works by Franz Liszt and Georges Bizet, reported the press service of the RNO.

Behind a conductor’s stand this evening — artistic Director and chief conductor of the orchestra of the world famous musician Mikhail Pletnev.

«It was an eventful season. Apart from concerts in Moscow, the team toured. Musicians of the RNO have been applauded by music lovers in Germany, France, and Switzerland. Become a traditional of our tours in China, where the orchestra enjoys great popularity. For the first time this season, the RNO made in Oman», — told RIA Novosti Director of the RNO Oleg Poltevsky.

According to the Director, at the end of the season, in June, the orchestra went on an extensive Asian tour – Taiwan, Japan, South Korea.

«The twelfth of June by a concert of the RNO will open the Russian program of the cross year of Russia and Japan. And in return, the team will begin preparations for the jubilee X Big festival RNO, which, as usual, we’ll open a new Philharmonic season,» said Poltevsky.

In the program of the final concert of the Russian national orchestra in Moscow on the stage of the Grand hall of the Conservatory his interpretations of the famous «Faust Symphony» of Liszt and Bizet’s First Symphony will present to the audience Mikhail Pletnev.

In the evening together with the Russian national orchestra will perform a young talented singer Ilya Selivanov (tenor) and the choir of the Central boundary ensemble of FSB of the Russian Federation. Artistic Director and head of the ensemble, Andrey Kapralov, Director – Maxim Popov. The organ part will be performed by Leonid Ogrintchouk.
