Convicted of child abuse priest Gleb Grozovsky was transferred to the colony in the Murmansk region, told RIA Novosti lawyer Mikhail Utkin.

According to him, this happened «somewhere in the beginning of may».

As told by the sister of the convicted Love Grozovsky, her brother is now in a penal colony 16 in the village of Murmashi in the room, which works as a detention facility.

«After receiving the «zamanki» (document from the court that tells about the sentence comes into force) will be transferred to a correctional colony of strict regime 17,» said Grozovsky.

While the regional UFSIN RIA Novosti information about the whereabouts of the priest refused to tell.

In the beginning of the year Grozovsky was sentenced to 14 years in strict regime colony. The court found, in 2009, the priest abused a girl in the Orthodox camp on the island of Konevets on lake Ladoga, and in 2013 — still above the two — the camp on the island of KOs in Greece.

The sentence came into legal force on 13 April. Last week, the defense filed an appeal.
