Accepting applications for the award of TEFI-2018 completed this year, the highest TV rewards will fight about 600 projects, which is a record since the existence, the number of applications, the press service of the Committee of industrial television awards, which is the organizer of taffy.

«Completed applications for industrial television award TEFI-2018, awarded for the highest achievements in the field of television arts. All in all nominations of the «afternoon news» and «Evening Prime» includes more than 600 projects», — stated in the message.

The organisers of TEFI noted that traditional leaders in the number of applications remain the category of «Best actress, television movie/series» and «Best actor in a television movie/series». This year, these nominations have been filed for 59 applications.

The press service also noted that this season introduced a new voting system developed by experts of the faculty of computational mathematics and Cybernetics, Lomonosov Moscow state University. It involves the creation of an enlarged jury. From each founder is represented by 150 members of the jury, including independent experts.

«Thus, the jury consists of 1050 employees, not 70 and 140 as in the previous year. Voting is conducted online in private offices. Each jury member will choose up to five works in each category,» — says the organizers of the prize.

The first stage of voting will be held from 3 to 20 September.

The solemn award ceremony will take place on 3 October in the Moscow theater musical. The awards in the categories of «Daytime» and «Evening Prime» will take place in one day.

Taffy — television industry award for the highest achievements in the television arts. The award was established by the Foundation «Russian television Academy» December 21, 1994 and from year to year included a different number of categories. From 2014 the organizer of the award is the Committee of industrial television awards. The winners are traditionally awarded a bronze statuette «Orpheus» by Ernst Neizvestny.
