The sub-group on security at talks in Minsk on Donbass during the last meeting failed to achieve positive results, said the representative of the self-proclaimed Donetsk people’s Republic in the Joint center for control and coordination ceasefire.

«To move the adoption of the document with additional measures that would allow to respond in substance to the disorders, unfortunately, failed this time. It is obvious that the Ukrainian side is not beneficial to the signing of such a document,» — said the representative office.

The DNR office in SCCC added that the self-proclaimed Republic and the representatives of the delegation from the Russian Federation supported the proposal of the Special monitoring mission of the OSCE and expressed readiness to sign the document that corresponds to the items in the package.

In addition, the negotiators continued to discuss violations of Kiev agreements on the withdrawal of forces and means from the line of contact and reminded that the forces of the DNI reserves the right to return units to the positions in those places where the removal has already occurred in the case that the armed forces of Ukraine will not remove its troops out.
