Poroshenko submitted to the High Council of justice the law on anti-corruption court

The President of Ukraine Petro Poroshenko sent to the High Council of justice a draft law «On establishing the Higher anti-corruption court» that will allow to start the procedure of establishment, reported the press service of the head of state.

The Verkhovna Rada on Thursday adopted a presidential law on the formation of the Higher anti-corruption court in Ukraine. Its creation is one of the key requirements for Ukraine from the International monetary Fund for granting the next tranche of the loan. The document was signed by the President of Ukraine, it was published in an official newspaper and came into force on Thursday. Poroshenko said earlier that the Verkhovna Rada should adopt two more law for an anti-corruption court earned in Ukraine.

«Poroshenko sent to the High Council of justice a draft law «On establishment of anti-corruption High court» in accordance with the procedure established by part two of article 125 of the Constitution of Ukraine», — stated in the message.

The education bill of the anti-corruption court is technical and involves the start of the procedure of creating an anti-corruption court.

According to the Constitution, the courts in Ukraine are created and abolished by laws, drafts of which contributes to the Parliament by the President after consultation with the High Council of justice. After that, Parliament should support the bill.
