Russia and Kyrgyzstan maintain a positive trend of development of bilateral relations, said Russian President Vladimir Putin.

The Russian leader Thursday in the Kremlin was attended by the President of Sooronbay Zheenbekov, who arrived in Moscow on the occasion of the start of the world Cup.

«There’s always something to talk about. So at this time. Mean the nature of our relationship and volume growing. We have in the past year trade has increased by 31%. And the trend remains positive. We will do everything to keep it that way in the future,» Putin said at the meeting.

He recalled that recently met with Jeenbekov at the summit in China, and the next meeting is to be held in the framework of the CIS summit.

The leader of Kyrgyzstan, in turn, thanked Putin for the opportunity to discuss issues of cooperation and for the invitation to the world championship.
