The head of the Serpukhov area of Moscow suburbs Alexander Shestun is charged with the expense budget of almost 63 million rubles, RIA news from the Basmanny court of Moscow where the question on arrest of the official.

«The case was initiated in relation to Shestun, the head of the investigative Committee yesterday. He (Shestun – ed.) in the period 2008-2014 exceeded his authority in the delivery of four plots of land than the budget caused damage amounting to 62,8 million rubles», — said the investigator in court.

The investigator, justifying the necessity of arrest, said that the officer, being at large, might threaten witnesses, and will also continue to engage in criminal activity.
