The Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for human rights, Lyudmila Denisova asked the Russian Ombudsman Tatiana Moskalkova assist in the organization of its meetings with 34 prisoners in Russia Ukrainians.

«I ask you to assist in the organization of my personal meetings», — the statement says Denisova, courtesy of RIA Novosti staff Moskalkova.

The appeal lists the 34 prisoners in Russia of a citizen of Ukraine, in particular, the Director Oleg Sentsov, S. Klyh and Mykola Karpyuk.

Earlier, the Russian and Ukrainian presidents Vladimir Putin and Petro Poroshenko agreed that the ombudsmen of the two countries will visit prisoners in the territory of the Russian Federation and Ukraine.

Moskalkova has told RIA Novosti that agrees with Denisova lists of inmates and chart hits. Later it was reported that Denisov will arrive in Russia on Saturday and will visit the prisoner Zmitser Sterlikova and Moskalkova will visit Ukraine early next week.

Sentsov was sentenced by the court to 20 years in prison on charges of organizing terrorist acts in the Crimea. This sentence to 10 years imprisonment, was also convicted an accomplice of Sentsov, Alexander Kolchenko. Two more defendants in the case, Alexey Chirny and Gennady Afanasiev previously received seven years of imprisonment.

The Supreme court of Chechnya in may 2016 sentenced the citizens of Ukraine, members of the nationalist organization «Ukrainian national Assembly — Ukrainian national self-defence»* Mykola Karpiuk and Stanislaus Cliche to 22.5 and 20 years in a strict regime colony.

FSB detained in November 2016 in Sevastopol three people, including Stabnikova, on suspicion of preparing acts of sabotage. All three, according to the FSB, prepared explosions on infrastructure in the Crimea.
