Reduced mortgage from the inception of the programme in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district (YANAO) have used the 79 families, the total amount of the mortgage loan amounted to 207 million rubles, reports the regional government.

A pilot project in the Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district was started since last year. In the framework of the project to all categories of citizens can obtain cash loans at a reduced interest rate to purchase housing in the primary market. The size of rates on mortgage ranges from 5.75% to 6% and is valid for the entire duration of the contract. The lowest percentage (5.5%) may to a large family.

«From the beginning of the program received 135 applications, reduced mortgage took advantage of the 79 families, the total amount of the mortgage loan amounted to 207 million rubles. About 30% of applicants were denied due to negative credit history or current litigation. The remaining applications are under consideration», — is spoken in the message.

Become a member of the program may be any capable citizen of the Russian Federation at the age from 21 years to 65 years, have a steady income at last job for at least six months and own savings of at least 20% to pay down payment.

From 1 July 2019, the developers will lose the right to directly take funds of shareholders. The money will be accumulated in special accounts in banks up to the commissioning of the facility. However, citizens still have the opportunity to buy housing at construction stage.

From the middle of next year to work with means of investors, banks will need to be accredited by the Central Bank. The money will be insured by the Deposit insurance Fund, and construction will be carried out at the expense of own funds of construction companies and credit banks, specify power.
