The President of Russia Vladimir Putin has congratulated on Saturday his Armenian counterpart Armen Sargsyan with the 65th anniversary, the press service of the Armenian leader.

«Dear Armen vardanovich, please accept my heartfelt congratulations on the occasion of the 65th anniversary! Russia highly appreciates Your efforts aimed at strengthening friendly and allied relations between our countries, further expansion of mutually beneficial integration processes in the Eurasian space», — is spoken in the message published on the website of the President of Armenia․

Putin, Sargsyan wished good health, prosperity and success in your responsible post for the benefit of the brotherly people of Armenia.

The national Assembly (Parliament) of Armenia elected on March 2, Ambassador in great Britain Sargsyan’s new, fourth President of the country. Along with this came into force the new text of the Constitution, according to which the power is concentrated in the hands of the Parliament and government, and the functions of the President which will be elected by the Parliament, will be representative.
