Chebarkul city court sentenced four members of a criminal group that extorted money from 17 military contract they got from 3.5 to 10 years in prison, said Friday the Prosecutor of the Chelyabinsk region.

According to investigators, partners in the period 2014-2015 have committed crimes against 17 of contract servicemen on the territory of the Chebarkul urban district. Getting acquainted with the victims on the territory of the city of Chebarkul in the area of the military town, mainly at night, the attackers in the process of communication under various pretexts extorted from the victims of money and personal belongings — phones, tablets, allegedly for lack of communication and unfulfilled obligations flimsy, according to investigators.

Partners, according to the investigation, demanded to give them different amounts of money — from 2 to 130 thousand rubles, and one of the victims after the violence handed the car keys Mazda-3 worth 900 thousand rubles. Subsequently the car was returned to the victim.

«The court sentenced the accused to imprisonment for a term of 3 years 6 months to 10 years, with fines from 40 to 120 thousand roubles with punishment serving in correctional colonies of General and strict modes», — stated in the message.
