More than 70% of accidents on production caused by human factor, said Deputy Minister of labor and social protection of the Russian Federation Grigory Lekarev at meeting on questions of labour protection in the subjects of Russian Federation included in the Siberian Federal district.

According to the press service of the Ministry of labour, in his speech Lekarev said that more than 70% of accidents on production caused by human factor. «First of all, it is a question of culture of labour relations», – he said.

According to him, the test results show that very often the rules are followed, the signature of the employee that he / she is familiar with the requirements, there is needed instruction is carried out, and then it turns out that in fact man did not penetrate, did not control the process and the compliance with safety regulations. «This is an indication of low culture, so we now want to progress from responding to events to warn and prevent the tragic events, said Lekarev.

He noted that it is important that risks are identified continuously. «And responding to the identification of such hazards was immediate. They see their working place, colleagues, and should articulate the problem to his superiors,» said the Deputy Minister.
