Regional political Council of party «United Russia» in the Yamalo-Nenets Autonomous district has put forward as candidates for the post of Governor of three people: the acting head of the Autonomous district Dmitry Artyukhov, Deputy of the state Duma Vladimir Pushkarev and speaker of the Duma Novy Urengoy Irina Gruzdevu, according to the website of the branch of the party.

To choose the Governor of the Autonomous region will have 9 September the deputies of the legislative Assembly of Yamal-Nenets Autonomous district of the three proposed by Russian President Vladimir Putin candidates. However, the first faction represented in the regional Parliament, should send a list of applicants to the head of the Tyumen region.

«In the list proposed by acting Governor of the Tyumen region, three candidates – acting Governor of Yamal Dmitry Artyukhov, Chairman of the city Duma of the New Urengoy Irina Gruzdeva and the Deputy of the State Duma of the Russian Federation Vladimir Pushkarev», — stated in the message.

Earlier, Putin appointed a 30-year Artyukhova temporarily fulfilling duties of the Governor of Yamal. Commenting on the decision, first Deputy Chairman of the regional legislative Assembly of Victor Kazarin has told RIA Novosti that the members of the faction «United Russia» support the appointment Artyukhova and intend to work constructively with the new head of the region.

The first of the factions represented in the legislative Assembly of Yamal, with the candidate for Governor determined the liberal democratic party. In early June the party announced that as approved by the 49-year-old Alexander Golubenko, head of the parliamentary faction in the regional Parliament.
