Deputy Minister of foreign Affairs of Russia Alexander Grushko in an interview with RIA Novosti said that he had discussed with the foreign Minister of Austria Karin Kneissl energy cooperation.

«The foreign Ministry of Austria we have held talks on a broad range of relations between Russia and the EU during the Austrian presidency. Of course, part of this review and the energy segment. It was not only and not so much about the physical supply of gas, and that it is necessary to seek such forms of cooperation that would ensure stability of supply, demand, transit, and ultimately would foster a predictable environment for investors», — said Grushko.

He noted that energy cooperation requires a lot of money, and major infrastructure projects may not be exercised in an unpredictable political or legal environment. «Here, I mean the continuing attempts to extend to the transit pipelines, the provisions of the «third energy package of the EU» — said Deputy foreign Minister of the Russian Federation.
