The Indian Embassy in Russia confirmed that during an accident in the Kuban region killed one citizen, his body will be delivered home as soon as possible but not before the autopsy, which is scheduled for Monday, told RIA Novosti press-Secretary of the diplomatic mission Amarendra Parida.

Earlier it was reported that a Russian citizen and an Indian national were killed in the collision of car and bus on the road Adler — Krasnaya Polyana. «We know what happened — this terrible incident. Two citizens of India were in the car, they came to Russia to watch the World Cup games. He stressed that the Embassy is in close contact with the families of Indian nationals and working with the Russian authorities on the incident.

«An autopsy will be performed Monday, and we are doing everything possible to his body as soon as possible was forwarded to his homeland in India. This will happen as soon as will be resolved all the necessary formalities,» added Parida.

The second passenger is now in hospital and reported that his condition is stable.
