«We found the gene that is responsible for blocking the reinforcing effect of the drug, leading to the desire of his re-consumption and, consequently, to dependence,» the researcher said on air of broadcasting company RTBF.

The next step, he said, will be to achieve an understanding of how the gene works so that you can proceed to the experiments with persons suffering from drug addiction.
