Miners continue protest outside the energy Ministry in downtown Kiev, they spent the night at the building, demanding the payment of wage arrears and the resignation of the relevant Minister Igor Nasalik, said Friday the head of the Independent trade Union of miners of Ukraine Mikhail Volynets.

«The miners with the support of activists continue to protest for the ninth day. We are now under the walls of Ministry,» wrote Wolyniec in Facebook.

According to him, the miners spent the night in front of the energy Ministry, while the police took their tent.

Volynets added that along with a Deputy, Sergei Shakhov, miners and prostatic the media is trying to get to the Minister of energy and coal industry Nasalise, but they are not allowed and police protection.

Previously the miners have been holding rallies outside the Verkhovna Rada with the requirement to extinguish debt on a salary. In late June, miners, veterans of the Afghan war and the security forces held rallies in front of Parliament. They tried to break into the Parliament building, resulting in clashes with the police. According to police, the clashes were injured eight police officers and three civilians. Were initiated two criminal cases.
